This is one of Stewart Coffins lesser known designs. The 5 pieces go together to make a cube. But doing so is trickier than it may seem. It is a serial, interlocking assembly. I have also included a small box to hold the assembled puzzle. The pieces are made from Kosso and the boxes are made from Holly with Wenge and Paduak trim.
I've added another variation, but these pieces were so striking I felt they needed a stand to show off their true colors.
