When he heard I had gotten my laser cutter Christophe Lohe asked me if I was interested in some designs. Of course I said YES! Christophe does some really cool stuff. One of his new designs in wood will be is in this update and another will be in the June update. Here I have a few of his Symmetry-Seeking Puzzles.
Splinter Puzzle - Arrange the four pieces into a symmetric shape. One known solutions. This puzzle contains one very small piece. I will include a few extras but only one is used for the solution. Further instructions included. 3mm Acrylic
Cutter Puzzle - Arrange the four pieces into a symmetric shape. Three known solutions with at least one mirror symmetry and at least one with 180° symmetry. Further instructions included. 5mm Acrylic
Matryoshka Puzzle - Arrange the 3 pieces into a symmetric shape. Nine known solutions, at least one mirror symmetric solution and one with rotational symmetry. Colors may vary. Further instructions included. 5mm Acrylic

Yell-Oh - Several challenges here. Arrange 2 pieces into a symmetric shape, 3 pieces into a symmetric shape and 4 pieces into a symmetric shape. Further instructions included. 5mm Acrylic
Moai - Arranging the pieces into a symmetric shape is all that's required here. One known solution. I wanted this to have the appearance of the Easter Island statues so my color choices were gray or tan. Since I was not able to get 5mm in gray or tan, I opted for the gray in 3mm. Triad - Arrange 2 of the 3 pieces into a symmetrical shape (2 known solutions), arrange all 3 pieces in a symmetrical shape (1 known solution) Further instructions included. 5mm Acrylic
Rectangle - This puzzle involves finding a symmetric shape with three of the four pieces as a warm-up. Then using all four pieces find an assembly which does not contain your original design. Colors may vary. (5mm Acrylic) Further instructions included.
